７月２２日、愛・地球博のエキスポドームで、ヨーヨー・マとシルクロードアンサンブルのコンサートが開かれました。半分開放型の会場は名古屋独特の蒸し暑さが漂っていましたが、素晴らしい演奏、特に演奏者が実にのびのび楽しそうに演奏している様は、音楽の本来持っている良さを示していたと思います。彼らの活動に最大級の敬意を捧げたい。これからもクラシックの枠にとらわれず、音楽のすばらしさを伝えて欲しいと思います。

正直言って、25年前のシルクロード＝喜多郎...

正直言って、25年前のシルクロード＝喜多郎のイメージが強烈すぎて、今回の新シルクロードはどんな音楽になるのか？と思っていましたが、シルクロードアンサンブルの奏でる音は心に迫るもので、感動しました。きっと今から25年後（いや、100年後）にも残って行く音楽だと思います。

年始にNHKの番組見ましたが、素晴らしいです。音楽をクリエイトすること、人種や国境を越えて繋がることの圧倒的な”愛”が音楽に溢れています。
