Taking a step back to the more simple, straight forward style of 1999's 'Blue Skies, Broken Hearts', 'So Long Astoria' more than matches the hype, barrelling through thirteen songs filled with biting guitar hooks, triumphant chords, and unstoppable rhythms. Produced by Lou Giordano (Goo Goo Dolls, Sunny Day Real Estate, Samiam, Paul Westerberg), standout tracks include the sweetly chiming 'Radio #2', the dreamy 'Saddest Song', and 'Boys Of Summer', a straight-ahead cover of the Don Henley classic.

｢奇跡の一枚｣。イングヴェイ大好きクラオタの私の琴線に触れるのですから。少年時代の夏休みに、背伸びをして冒険に出掛けたような懐かしさや、１０代の頃の煌きや輝き、そんなこんなを聴いていて思い起こしました。今では方向性が変わった(変わってしまった？)とのことですが、｢時｣と彼等の出会いがこの作品を生んだのでしょう、その意味に於いて真に｢奇跡の一枚｣。(ただ幸福なことに我々はこの作品を聴くという行為によっていつでもその｢時｣に戻ることができる。これってMAGICだよな。音楽には魔法の力があるのさ。）
