Product Description

This soundtrack to the ultimate chick flick surfing moving offers no surprises in terms of its music selection. The order of the day is skate punk, rap, and funky pop, with a side order of chill-out for those romantic moments. The film is a teenage tale about Ann-Marie, a big wave surfer on the North Shore of Oahu whose ambition to make a comeback after nearly drowning in a surfing competition is hampered by her romance with a chiselled-faced football player. The surfing scenes are digitally enhanced to thrilling effect and tracks like Jason Nevin's remix of N.E.R.D.'s Rock Star are an obvious accompaniment to these high velocity moments. Chicken's Big Love is pure teen reggae whilst the heart-torn vocals of Beth Orton are certainly a great addition on Daybreaker. No discerning action movie would be complete without a FatBoy Slim tune, and here it's his remix skills that are used on the disco funk of Playgroup's 'Front 2 Back'. The Doves finish things off nicely with the sunset mellow indie chill anthem 'Firesuite'. There's enough here to appeal to skaters, surfing dudes and armchair listeners alike.

Blue Crushの映画にすっかりハマっちゃいました。こんな生活できたらいいなぁ…って!!!何回もﾚﾝﾀﾙしてたんですけど、ついにｻﾝﾄﾗ買いました。DVDも購入予定です。Blue Crushにハマった人はｻﾝﾄﾗ買っても損はないと思います。
