久しぶりに引っ張り出して、聴いてみた。 彼らは今でも素晴らしいバンドだけど、やっぱりこの頃は格別だ。 SWEETNESSはもちろん、他にも名曲がたくさんある。 彼らがいて、このアルバムがあって、その後の音楽シーンがあった。そういう次元の作品。

彼等の代表作の様に言われてますが、私は一番聞かなかったアルバムです。「ＳＡＤＮＥＳＳ」が強すぎて、他曲に見栄えがしませんし、売れ線が多すぎる気がします。ＪＥＷの最高の楽しみである清々しさが感じられず、聞き終わった後に多少食傷気味になります。勿論通常レベルで考えればかなりのハイレベルでの注文では有りますが、他が良いとどうしてもそっちへ行ってしまいます。

CMで聞いた時は『！！！』…まさか民放で流れるとは（涙…）…でも彼等のキャリアの中では正直…好きなALではないですが…スウィートネスは…エモを代表するアンセム！個人的にはレアトラック集に入ってるバージョンが最高！！邦盤のみの収録なんで間違ってインポート盤を買わないようにね！邦盤はトイズファクトリーですんで…是非…
