Miraclesの City Of Angelsは捨て曲無しの名曲揃いのアルバム。リリース当時は大ヒット曲「ラヴ・マシーン」と「チャイナタウンの幽霊」目当てで買ったアルバムだけど再発CDでじっくり聴き直してみるとアップもスローもイイ曲揃いで得した気分です。

This is my favorite album of miracles include the song city of angels and love machine. is a concept album, depicting of a man from ”Anytown, U.S.A.” who follows his estranged girlfriend Charlotte to Los Angeles, where she has gone in hopes of becoming a star. All of the tracks on the album were written by Billy Griffin and Miracles bass singer Pete Moore. Freddie Perren and Moore served as the album’s producers.

目出度く CD化なった　シティオブエンジェルズ。LP は知らなくても　ラブマシンは　皆さんご存知　腰が動きます。その LP を探そうと思ったのが　大間違い。整理整頓が出来ないボクは 30分もかかってしまいました。ヒマだから　いっかー。実は LP はフロント上部半分弱が　そーそー　タイトルの絵の部分ね　ペラっとフラップになってます。これめくったら　スカートも一緒にめくれるじゃん？などと妄想して　ちょっとドキドキしながら　その　フラップをめくると...　キャー　見てはいけないものが...（嘘）
