初の日本語詞楽曲を解禁した２０１２年発売の「2012 e.p.」以来の４曲入り、新e.p.が完成した。最近のバンド の制作スタイルを踏襲し、各メンバーが１曲づつ楽曲のコンポーズを担当、４曲４様のアプローチをみせる。 また、タイトルでは今作の特徴として、ふんだんに取り入れられている打楽器の音色をイメージした「ボンゴ」 の名が冠された。（しかし実際に演奏・録音されているのはコンガであるという、、、）
