「２枚組アナログレコード」を購入してみたが、レコード盤の「ソリ」が激し過ぎて再生に支障が出るほどでした。納品後７日以内に気が付きましたが、生憎納品書を紛失してしまった為に、返金処置の手続きは諦めました。楽曲は素晴らしいのに非常に残念な結果でしたが、本作の購入を考えるなら絶対「CD媒体」をお勧めます。

聴けば聴くほど、噛めば噛むほど味が出るスルメアルバム。ノラ・ジョーンズの変化についていけないファンはゆっくり味わってみる事を薦めます。

デビュー作から丁度10年、5枚目のニュー･アルバム。プロデューサーのデンジャー･マウスとの二人三脚で創り上げられ、ノラ自身の失恋が反映されたダークな光を放つ作品。歌詞にはリアルな感情がストレートに表現されたネガティヴな言葉が並んでいて、とてもヘヴィな内容だが、一曲一曲のクォリティーが高く、サウンドも歌声もこれまでにない多様性があって、とても刺激的な作品に仕上がっている。1965年の映画”Mudhoney”のポスターを捩ったジャケットのアートワークもカッコいい
