ARETHAファン歴45年の私のベスト１アルバムです。 ”YOUNG,GIFTED AND BLACK”が最高です。ゴスペル・ソウルというのでしょうか？またアルバム中半分は他人の曲ですが、まるで別の曲になってしまうアレンジがたまりません。バック・ミュージシャンは今やジャズ畑で活躍していますがマスル・ショールズっぽい音で迫ってくれ、今思えば当時の「最後のＲ＆Ｂ」と言えそうです。聞けば聞くほど上手さを再認識します。
