Digitally re-mastered edition of this 1988 album from the Brooklyn born, Harlem raised Soul vocalist. Leata's background is in musical theatre and performed in Hair on Broadway and then the Sophisticated Ladies following her move to Los Angeles. In 1980, Leata was on the soundtrack album to the movie Stir Crazy then in 1983 arrived at Columbia Records with two featured songs on an album Paul Jabara And Friends. The Naked Truth sounds great today thanks to the classy smooth soul producers of Nick Martinelli and Preston Glass who resisted the beats of the harsh day and complemented Leata's three octave range with a classic, timeless sounds. Fascination and One of These Nights are just two songs today that actually sound better than ever. Expansion.
