パリで活躍するフランス人プロデューサーDilouya（ディロウヤ）は、音楽と旅好きだったパーカッショニストの父親から影響を受け育ち、 ドラムとピアノに魅了され、Stevie Wonderや、Quincy Jones、Lennon-McCartney、Prince、Michael Jacksonやアシッドジャズのグルーヴに大きくインスパイアされた事により、今日のマルチプロデューサー ディロウヤが完成。
当初はソウルとジャズ、ファンクやポップサウンドを組み合わせた実験的なバンド活動をいくつも行い、すぐさま、彼の作曲スキルと作品に惹きつけられた様々なアーティスト達が周りに集まり、コラボレーションをする事になった。
OmarやJohn Turrell、Hugh Coltmanに、フランス人ソウルシンガーのSly Johnson (Saian Supa Crew)や、イギリスのソウルシーンで活躍するシンガー達が参加した、彼のデビューアルバム『Faithful Circus』 は、アメリカサウンドとは一味違う、ジャケットデザインと同様、繊細な感性が感じられる一枚となっている。
