マイケル・ベイ監督お気に入りのバンド「リンキン・パーク」は、トランスフォーマーシリーズ（※以下TRシリーズ）第1弾『トランスフォーマー』で「ホワット・アイヴ・ダンWhat I've Done」、TR第2弾『リベンジ』では「ニュー・ディヴァイドNew Divide」と楽曲を提供してきましたが、今回の『トランスフォーマー/ダークサイド・ムーン』でも「イリディセントIridescent」を提供。同曲のオリジナルは、彼らの通算4枚目となるオリジナル・アルバム『ア・サウザンド・サンズA Thousand Suns』収録の同曲のリミックス･ニュー・バージョン。
