Digitally remastered and expanded two CD 30th Anniversary edition of the British Metal band's 1980 release. Disc One contains the original album and BBC Friday Rock Show session tracks while Disc Two features rare demos, alternative versions and twelve inch single mixes. Angel Witch's eponymous debut draws heavily upon satanic and witchcraft imagery with the band's sound displaying a fiercely dark mixture of gothic melody mixed with weighty guitar riffs comparable to vintage Black Sabbath. 以前このDELUXE Editionを購入し聞いてみたところ、なんか音が小さくリマスターされていないように感じました。リマスター表記はされていたはずですが・・・私のだけ悪いんですかね？25周年盤の方が良かった気がします。

1980年発表。Angel Witchの1stアルバム。 NWOBHMを取り上げるとき必ずと言って良い程 出てくるバンドですね。 Tr.01はギターなどは結構NWOBHM然としてるが、歌メロはポップ。 若干古臭さも感じるかな。 だけどこれが聴きたくて本CDを購入した。 大好きな一曲。
