最初に聴いた時はあまりに地味で暗くそれまでのボン・ジョヴィとの違いにがっかりしたもんですが、このアルバムは聴いていく内にその完成度の高さにどんどんハマっていき、今はとても大好きなアルバムです。音質の良さも特筆すべき点ですね。

全体的に落ち着いたアルバムです。 それまでのハードロックの要素はあまり感じられないため、物足りないと感じる人もいらっしゃるのではないでしょうか。 しかし本当に美しい曲ばかりです。 ボンジョヴィのアルバムはすべて聴いていますが、ジョンとリッチーのソングライティングの才能を最も感じたのがこのアルバムでした。 なので個人的にはこのアルバムが一番好きです。
