2001年の9月にアメリカのBufalloでジャケ買いしてから2年8ヶ月、幾度となく聴きました。素晴らしいアルバムだと思います。哀しさと強さを秘めた重くシブい楽曲群と、ジャケットに描かれたSincのアートが絶妙にマッチしていて、全てをひっくるめて一つの芸術品のようです。HWMは初期音源からコーションまで聴きましたが、個人的にはこのアルバムが最高傑作だと思います。愛想や色気のある音ではありませんし、直接優しく励ましてくれるような音でもありません。が、ずーっと傍らにいてくれて、確かにそこに存在を感じられるような、そんな音です。
