2009年のニューイヤー・コンサートのライブ...

2009年のニューイヤー・コンサートのライブ盤です。 CD1の選曲がなかなか良い。 ヘルメスベルガー『スペイン・ワルツ』、ヨハン・シュトラウス２世『東洋の物語』は珍しいし、『宝のワルツ』『南国のばら』『ヴィネチアの一夜』と言った個人的に好きな曲が入っていて良かった。 欲を言えば『入り江のワルツ』も欲しかったが… 演奏は終始リラックスしたムードで楽しく、新年を祝うコンサートにふさわしい演奏だ。 デッカの録音で、なるほど音は良い。

期待せずに聞いたTVのコンサートがよかったので買いました。一頃のVPOと違いやっつけでなくちゃんと弾き込んでいるように思えましたし、またバレンボイムも イスラエルとアラブの若者の融合をはかる活動頃からふきれたように自由で自然に音楽をしているように思えます。来年も振ってほしいが、プレートルらしい。。。ウィーンで聞いた当時のプレートルのVPOは最低だったから期待はしないでおこう。

毎年、ニューイヤーコンサートを聞くがいつも悩んだ末に１〜２年後にＣＤを購入。でも今回は即効で買う事を決めました。自分の中でピッタリとハマったのでしょう。このＣＤはテレビで聞いた時よりオーディオ的に低音が入っていますが自分が受けたイメージを崩さなかった。自分のベスト「９７年ムーティー指揮」と並びます。バレンボイムってあまり聞かないんですが、これは最高。
