I'm ready to show other sides of what I can do musically. My first love has always been R'n'B and I've been into hip-hop since it first started. It's so funny - when people hear I'm working with The Neptunes, they're like 'I wonder what that will sound like?' I'm just being a part of my own generation?and we grew up with rap and hip-hop as well as R'n'B.? Album number five for Toni Braxton and this time she's unlocking the hip-hop diva within with thehelp of The Neptunes and a new approach to her music. Toni co-wrote quite a bit of the new material with sister Tamar including 'Me and My Boyfriend' (based on Tupac Shakur's 'Me and My Girlfriend') whilst other tracks a Keri Lewis-penned rock-flavoured track 'Lies, Lies, Lies and 'Always', written by Brandy's husband Big Burt.

このｱﾙﾊﾞﾑは世に出るのが早すぎたのかと。。当時の私はこれが出たことさえ知りませんでした。。デビュー当時のトニ・ブラクストンが好きだったら、これはどうかと思うでしょうね。。今、これを聴いてみて。。超かっこいいｱﾙﾊﾞﾑだと思います。トニ・ブラクストンのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑの凄いところは聴きこむ程にハマっていくところかな。今までのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑと比べるとかなり、重厚です。。大人なｱﾙﾊﾞﾑですね。特にLies,Lies,Lies。かっこいい！さすがミントコンディション！Verse2の歌詞、DontBotherToApologize,itsTooLate..わかるなぁ。。Rockme,Rollmeも好き。Selfish,AlwaysはどうやってもBrandy色が強く出てしまっています。。大好きな曲なんですが。。気持ちいい曲。TellMeのAnitaBaker調もかっこいいし。AndILoveYou-Babyface！？ってぐらい、以外でした。オルケストラ調が重厚でかっこいい。とにかく、このアルバムはトニ・ブラクストンファンとしては新境地というか、なかなかでした。まじで、かっこいいです。

トニさんは声がセクシーですね！メロディーもきれいで気に入りました。実はこれ、ずっと前から聞いてみたくて、これは隠れた名盤ですかね！？うぅん、やっぱりタイトルがなんか引っかかります・・・。機会がれば過去の作品もチェックしてみたいと思いました！
