世界遺産級の映像。以前VHSを観たことがありますが、ジミの肖像画をペイントしていくような余計な演出があり映像作品としては納得いかなかった記憶があります。この作品はドキュメンタリーから開始し、ライブ演奏につながりますが、ライブ演奏の間はカットがないので楽しめます。それにしても、ジミのギターは演奏するための目的物ではなく、彼の体の一部と化しています。しかも歌とギターが独立しながらも共鳴しあうという奇跡的なパフォーマンスです。

以前のＶＨＳ版に比べれば格段のでき.ジミのこのライブにかけるすさまじいものが感じられる.まさに凱旋ライブといえる。いつ聞いてもオープニングのキリングフロアーには鳥肌が立ちます。まさに史上最高のライブといえる.

この時の演奏も､鮮度良く､俺にHMVさんから､ﾓﾝﾀﾚｰ･ﾎﾟｯﾌﾟ･ﾌｪｽ･ｺﾝﾌﾟﾘｰﾄ(3 DVD)を購入させてしまった程､素晴らしい内容の物だったが､俺の人生最大の夢は､ｺﾂｺﾂと働いて､金を貯め､ ｴｸｽﾍﾟﾘｴﾝｽの「ﾛｲﾔﾙ･ｱﾙﾊﾞｰﾄ･ﾎｰﾙ･ﾗｲｳﾞ( 1969年 )」の映像ﾏｽﾀｰ･ﾃｰﾌﾟと､販売権利を買い取り､ﾍﾝﾄﾞﾘｯｸｽ財団に売り付けることである｡...確かまだ出てないんじゃ...｡ ( ヤベエ､また飲み過ぎてしまったみたいだ…｡ ※ 一応言って置きますが､ｱﾙｺｰﾙです､俺は非合法なﾓﾉは摂取しませんから｡ )( 笑｡ )
