今作は、Clashが1982年にニューヨーク、シェイ・スタジアムにてWhoのオープニング・アクトを務めた時の幻といわれるライヴ音源。
当時この公演は録音され、ライヴ・アルバムとしてリリースされる予定だったものの、Mick Jones の解雇とともにお蔵入りしてしまい、現存する数少ないClashの未発表音源としてファンから長年の間待望されていました。
そして、このテープが故Joe Strummerが転居のために荷物をまとめていた時に発掘され、ようやく今回のリリースに辿りつきました！！
このライヴはネット等の映像で見かけることも多いのですが、メンバーの気合の入り方は尋常ではなく、『Combat Rock』を発表した直後のClashのアメリカ進出と共に全盛期の一瞬を切り取った最高にカッコよく貴重なライヴ音源となっております！！

数年前に、シェイ・スタジアムのＤＶＤが正式に発売されるとの告知がありました。即刻予約しましたが、発売中止になったという連絡が..。すごい、ショック！映像もあるなら、早くリリースして下さい!!（粗悪なブートで我慢して待っています。）
