Maria Muldaur, a veteran of the Greenwich Village folk heyday in the early 60s, has spent the last four and half decades weaving her folk, blues and pop influences into a unique sound that speaks to matters of love, romance and other themes that are as universal as they are personal. But those matters of the heart in which Muldaur is so well versed are directly influenced by the state of the world. Like so many others, she is concerned about the increasingly precarious nature of the human condition on every front: socially, economically and more.
