Raphael Saadiq、Jamey Jaz、Warryn Campbell、George Dukeと信頼できるプロデューサー達とメロディを大切に紡ぐChante Mooreのコラボレーションは大人のR＆Bの手本となるようなアルバムをつくり上げた。タイトルトラックのChanteは吐息まじりでセクシーに、ボサノヴァの”First Kiss”では軽やかに、バラード”It Ain’t Supporsed To Be This Way”ではエモーショナルにその美しい歌声を披露している。派手さはないが楽曲の良さと歌唱がうまく合わさったアルバム。

ここ数年はなんだか「旦那の嫁」扱いばかりでしたがソロアルバムをホントに本当に待ってましたよ！で、期待以上にすばらしかったです。嗚呼〜感無量。バラエティに富んでいますが散漫な印象は無く、まとまった良いアルバムだと思います。同世代の同性シンガーでは一番共感できます。この生歌をぜひライブで聞いてみたいです。

一旦情報が消えたことで延期になって残念に思ってたけど、トラックリストが消えて値段が上がってる･･･ ってことは収録曲が増えたのかな？なんて都合のいいことを考えてますがとにかく今いちばん早く手に入れたいアルバムです。また日本にも来てね！！！
