1967年発表２作目はデッカ最後のアルバムであり、やや複雑な曲構成。イミディエイト盤『SMALL FACES』と一部曲がダブるし、前作１ｓｔからヒット曲M12、14が再収録されている。こんな混乱もＢ級っぽい（誉め言葉っス、勿論）彼らには似合う（ストーンズなんかもそうだったな確か）。全英ナンバー・ワン・ゲットの名曲M9の何とも言えない哀愁のロマンティシズム。M2、6、7のキャッチーなメロとタイトな演奏、M3、4のサイケっぽさは今のＵＫインディ好きのリスナーに是非聴いて欲しい。その他デル・シャノンのM1、ドン・コヴェイのM8、マーヴィン・ゲイのM10、スモーキー・ロビンソン＆ザ・ミラクルズのM13などのカヴァー曲も楽しめる。スモール・フェイセズの持つポップさとＲ＆Ｂテイスト、そして小気味よいアンサンブルは、今そしてこれからも新鮮なサウンドとして輝き続ける。
