R.E.M.史上最もラウドなアルバムだろう。特にラスト2曲⑩⑪は何度聴いても興奮させられる！その一方で憂いを帯びたナンバーも健在で、そのバランスが素晴らしい。結成25年以上経つバンドがこんなエキサイティングな作品を発表した事に敬意すら覚える。会心の一作。私にとってR.E.M.とパールジャムは、最重要ロックバンドであり続ける。新作はまだかな。待ち遠しい。

往年のR.E.M.ファンなら、これをじっとは聞いていられないでしょう。 レンタルショップで試聴したのですが、いきなりパンチを食らわせれてしまいました（^^）あぁ、まだこの人たちはこんなロックをやっているんだと思うと胸の奥で熱くなるものを感じます。 　収録時間が短いのもありますが、レコーディングも９週間という短期間だったらしく、彼らのエネルギッシュさがギュッと詰まったアルバムになっています。モンスターがミックスジュースだとするなら、これは１００％のオレンジジュースっていう感じ。

聴きました。speedyで激しさを増したrock、こんなR.E.M.は初めてでした！歌詞が相変わらず素晴らしい。聴き終えて、しばしぼうっとしてました(笑)
