Weezer's first title in 3 long years is finally here!
Rick Rubin who produced the previous album "Make Believe" has worked with the band again on this album. Rivers Cuomo, in between the two albums, has encountered quite a few life events - releasing a solo work titled "Alone: Weezer Another Tracks", getting married and having a baby. Apparently all those changed his view of the world significantly. The bassist Scott Shriner says "This album is just what our fans have longed for. We've taken brand new challenges and tried many new things, and we've just done it."
Their trademark sound made of good old powerful guitar riffs and catchy melodies is all there, but their soppy character might have changed somewhat... let's see how the guys have grown!
