剛と柔を持ち合わせ持った素晴しいアルバム。選曲の妙もありミルト・ジャクソンの出来は相変わらず最高ですが、周りを固めるサイドメンも最高の出来。特にフレディ・ハバードは特筆もので、ハッキリ言ってフレディのペットに余り感心した事のない小生は、このアルバムと同レーベルから出ている「スカイ・ダイブ」のフレディの自信と情感に満ちたプレイには掌を熱くして聞き惚れました。両者ともヴァンゲルダーサウンドも 絶好調で、これからジャズに親しみたい人には打ってつけデス。「スカイ・ダイブ」と共に 聴いて絶対損なし！！
