Solo Accoustic Vol.1も良かったけれど、Vol.2もなかなかのもの。特に日本版のみのボーナス・トラック”Shadow Dream Song”が素晴らしい。デビュー前の1967年作ですが、Jackson自身のレコーディングはこれが初めて。日本公演？で、リクエストされて、びっくりしたように曲名を聞き直しているくらい。「やってみるけど、とても古い、古い歌なんだ」とちょっとメロディーを確かめてから、歌い始めるのが泣かせます。長年の夢が叶いました。リクエストしてくれた人、ありがとう。

個人的に思い入れのある＃６、＃７を聴くのがとても楽しみです。今度はオリジナルの新作を引っさげての来日を期待しています。何年でも待つよ。

老いても、どことなく青年の雰囲気を漂わせているブラウン。前作のソロ・アコースティック第１弾で十分心を暖めてもらい、早く第２弾を、と待ってました。昔から青春の甘酸っぱさや空しさ、悲しさを表現させたら、右に出る者はいなかったですが、一時社会に目を向けた作風になって少し距離を置いた私です。でも、誠実な作品に触れるとまた、無性に聞きたくなりますね。来日してほしいです。
