Pat Metheny(g)とChristian Mcbride(b)とAntonio Sanchez(ds)によるトリオの、アメリカ・ツアーの合間に録音されたアルバム。 これまでもトリオでは『 Bright Size Life 』 （Jaco Pastrius, Bob Moses）、『 Rejoicing 』（Charlie Haden, Billy Higgins）、『 Question and Answer 』 (Dave Holland, Roy Haynes)、『 Pat Metheny Trio 99→00 』 (Larry Grenadier, Bill Stewart)とメンバー変えたアルバムがありますが、リラックスしながらもスリリングな掛け合いがある、最高のギタートリオアルバム。 ベテランならではの安定感、ツアーからの一体感、がヒシヒシと伝わります。

ユーザーレビューでは、評価がわかれてますね。購入しまして私は非常に良いプレーと、聴きました。３種類のギターを使い分け、相変わらずスリリングに展開してます。マクブライドとサンチェが素晴らしい！　まぁ、現代ジャズシーンですね。

ああ、やっぱり何度聴いてもダメです。アルバム全体が死にかけてます。これ、本当にパット本人が演ってるんでしょうか。あまりにやる気なさすぎではないですか。誰かパットのにせもの・影武者がやってるんじゃないすか。
