前作『鍋盤』の圧倒的な音数の多さと,あの金属がｸﾞﾆｬっとひしゃげた様な特異なﾌﾚｰｼﾞﾝｸﾞは共に微妙に少なくなった印象で, ﾗﾌで野太い録音質も手伝い,より肉感的に強度を増したｱｸﾞﾚｯｼｳﾞな音像は,ﾌﾟﾛｸﾞﾚからややﾒﾀﾙ寄りにｼﾌﾄした様に響き渡る（あくまで前作との比較）. #1,5,8,9はﾒﾝﾊﾞｰ各自作のｲﾝﾀｰﾘｭｰﾄﾞ的小曲.VO入りの#10には例えばbattlesとのﾍﾞｸﾄﾙの違いが歴然と現れる.「ﾏｽ」に媚るｱﾌﾟﾛｰﾁと明確に一線を画する姿勢は,その人選（Rob Crow）からして如実に何かを物語っている. 変則且つ冷徹なｻｳﾝﾄﾞは相変わらず.聴き込むのはこれからだけれど,あの前作と比べてもｸｵﾘﾃｨは落ちていないと思える.....これって凄い事だ.
