ベルリンを拠点に、アーティスト、作曲家、映像作家として活動を続けるマイクロサウンド/マイクロスコピック回の巨匠、KometことFrank Bretschneider。1986年からAG Geigeというドイツのアンダーグラウンドシーンで有名なバンドに参加、その後96年にOlaf BenderとRasterMusicレーベルを立ち上げ、12K、Mille Plateaux等様々なレーベルから作品をリリース。正確な音の配置、複雑に絡み合うリズムやミニマルなアプローチで有名なFrank Bretschneiderですが、本作はシンプルにモダンミュージックの根本である「リズム」をテーマとした作品となっています。
