Born to American father and Korean mother, R&B sensation Crystal Kay grew up in a musically rich environment as she was surrounded by various genres of black music. Debuted at the age of 13, the 17-year-old singer’s natural talent has blossomed into a superb mix of hip-hop and radio-friendly pop tunes on her third studio album ‘Almost Seventeen’ (she has just become 17 this October). 彼女を知ったのは5年前の闘病生活でこのアルバムが初めてでした。完治するとは分かっても精神的に辛いと思ったときはこのアルバムが頼りだったし、励まされました☆今でもこのアルバムは聞き飽きないから最高！正に永久保存版だと思う♪クリちゃん本当にありがとう！！！

Jesse＆SPHERE参加のﾊﾟｰﾃｨﾁｭｰﾝ「hard to say」で始まり、T.Kura＆MICHICOによるﾀﾞﾝﾁｭｰﾝ「Missin’U,baby」そしてMTV R＆B賞受賞「Girl U love」でﾉｯｸｱｳﾄ。AKIRAｱﾚﾝｼﾞの名ﾊﾞﾗｰﾄﾞ「Boyifriend」にTLC風「Hiden’n Seek」。冬ﾊﾞﾗｰﾄﾞでAaliyahを彷彿させる「think of U」。そしてDJ WATARAIによるｸﾗﾌﾞﾁｭｰﾝでもAaliyah歌唱を披露。ｱﾒﾘｶと日本とつなげる若きDIVAは日本のPOPSまでも巻き込みます。衝撃的名盤。
