Talib Kweli is an American MC from Brooklyn, New York. He is one of the best known rappers in alternative hip hop. He is also a member of Black Star (with Mos Def).

"Ear Drum" was released by his own label called Blacksmith Music. The producers are Hi-Tek, Madlib, and Will I Am. The guests are Jazz Singer Norah Jones, female MC Jean Grae, and UGK from south.
