Product Description

Based on the comic best seller by Nick Hornby, 'About A Boy' stars Hugh Grant, perfectly cast, as Will, a rich 30something bachelor, who with no need to work lives a life of leisure. His world of late rising, expensive diners and one night stands suits him fine, until he becomes involved in the lives of Fiona (Toni Collette) and her 12 year old son, Marcus (Nicholas Hoult). Will has hatched the perfect scheme to attract women and pretends to have a son, his plan works fine until he has to produce his imaginary child, at which point he borrows Marcus for a stand-in. As the two slowly get to be friends they end up helping each other, Marcus teaches Will how to be more mature while Will helps Marcus get through the problems he has at school and with his terminally depressed mother.
