バルトークの『役人』ピアノ・デュオ版（2000年改訂版）

作曲者自身がピアノ・デュオ用に編曲した『中国の不思議な役人』は、シャープで野蛮な味わいを強調したコチシュ＆ハウザーによる世界初録音（88年・廃盤）がすでに知られています。
　“ドイツにおけるハンガリー文化年”の2006年3月のオープニングにベルリンとミュンヘンで実演を行なった、ヘルナーディ＆モチャーリらハンガリー勢による演奏は、息子ピーター・バルトークの監修のもと2000年に出版された改訂版のスコアにもとづくもので、全体で30小節に及ぶパッセージが復元されているのが大きなポイント。（キングインターナショナル）
