'It Won't Be Soon Before Long', the sophomore album from Maroon 5, is a 12-track follow-up to 2002's breakthrough hit 'Songs About Jane'. Featuring production by Mike Elizondo, Mark "Spike" Stent, Eric Valentine and Mark Endert, 'It Wont Be Soon Before Long' is "like 'Songs About Jane,' but more danceable," guitarist James Valentine recently said of the new album, adding that "the beats are definitely harder" but that there are "also some mellow vibes".

ファースト・シングル『Make Me Wonder』の...

ファースト・シングル『Make Me Wonder』のディスコティークなアレンジ・・・最高です。その他にもファンキーな楽曲が多く、このアルバムはお洒落で粋な≪オトナも踊れるロック・アルバム≫といったところでしょうか？ 前作も素晴らしいのですが、よりメジャー感が出た、より洗練されたアルバムに完成されています。 これだけ良いアルバムだと、次作のプレッシャーは相当なものでしょうか・・・でもチェックし続けたいグループですね。

'07年発表｡……ん?このﾀｲﾄﾙ､英語としてちょっとﾍﾝかも?それとも日本人に､意味のつかみにくいﾀｲﾄﾙ? そんなｱﾙﾊﾞﾑに収録されている曲たちは､これまた､ひとつの｢感覚｣や｢ｼﾞｬﾝﾙ｣では収まりきらないﾊﾞﾗｴﾃｨに富んだものばかり｡ 本作にはｷｬｯﾁｰなﾒﾛﾃﾞｨは変わらずありつつも､ﾌｧﾝｸやﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟ､ﾃｸﾉにﾆｭｰｳｪｰﾌﾞと､思わず踊り出したくなるようなｻｳﾝﾄﾞがずらり｡ことに､ﾋｯﾌﾟﾎｯﾌﾟとﾃｸﾉのﾋﾞｰﾄの刻み方を共存させたような③は､実験的でありつつ一緒に歌えるという､驚異的なﾁｭｰﾝ!

あ、れ？　久しぶりにチェックしてみたら、いつの間にかこのアルバムの2枚組みInternational盤というのが出ていて、しかも付属のDVDにPVだけじゃなく最新ライヴが12曲も入っているじゃないですか。が～んっ!!　急いで買わなきゃ。
