Product Description

'Ruff Draft' was originally released in February 2003 by J Dilla's then-newly founded label, Mummy Records. Having been only released on vinyl, (which has since been out-of-print), 'Ruff Draft' was a hard-to-find entry in Jay Dee's catalogue. The album includes some of his most abstract and experimental work, all self-produced. As stated in the introduction of the album, 'Ruff Draft' is an uncommercial-sounding hip hop album made to sound like it's playing from a cassette.

やっぱりguilty simpsonとの曲が格好良い。ｲﾝｽﾄを寝る前に聴くのが気持ちいい(笑)やはりj dillaとかoh noとか好きになると、他の音がどうも…。

CD2枚組。1枚目28分、2枚目ｲﾝｽﾄのみで25分。2枚分合わせても50分ちょい、で、2,700円超。どうせなら1枚組2,000円くらいで良かったのでは？ﾗｲﾅｰの大前氏の解説はJ.Dを知るのにとても役立つし、音自体相変わらず黒さ満載で申し分なし。しかし、やはりｺｽﾄﾊﾟﾌｫｰﾏﾝｽにこだわってしまうのは購入側の必然。これから購入を考えている皆さん。バッヂが欲しいとかじゃないなら、輸入盤が値段相応ですゾ！音はカッコイイです。
