彼女は今でも素晴らしいソウルバラードを聞かせることの出来る数少ないシンガーの一人だ。若き日のエタは今ほどの味わい深さはないかもしれないがやはり時代を超えた名昌を幾つも残している。中でもこのアルバムが最高だ。以前出ていたバラード編集ものが本当は一番充実した内容だったが、オリジナルではこれでしょう。
