日本通としても知られるMo'Waxの総帥ジェームス・ラヴェルが日本のヒップホップ黎明期を支えたメジャー・フォースレーベル創設者、K.U.D.O.（工藤昌之）を迎えて94年に結成したユニットU.N.K.L.E.。数々のリミックスワークを手がけ、K.U.D.O.にかわりDJ Shadowが参加した「Psyence Fiction」ではリチャード・アシュクロフト（ザ・ヴァーヴ）、トム・ヨーク（レディオヘッド）、マイクD（ビースティー・ボーイズ）、ジェイソン・ニューステッド（メタリカ）、クールGラップといった各界のツワモノをゲスト参加させ、一躍有名になった。ジャズ、ロック、ノーザンソウル、ヒップホップ、エレクトロ、ブレイクビーツと広範囲の音楽趣向で飽きのこない楽曲を提供。今回はタイトルどおり、Mo'Waxのストーリーというべき90年代初期にリリースされた楽曲を2枚組CDにしてリリース。メンツも超豪華！
