クレイダーマンが200年〜250年前の古典ピアノを使い、録音した日本独自企画。大手音楽鑑賞団体、民主音楽協会が数多くのピアノを所有していることはよくしられている。今回はその中からビクター・スタジオに三台運び込んで録音、さらに異動不可能な2台は、民音資料館で録音された。クレイダーマンにとっても最初で最後の貴重な経験で、今のピアノにはない微妙でノスタルジックな響きは、聴くものに新たな感動を呼び起こす。
