TRAVIS史上、最も重く陰鬱な空気に包まれた一枚。憂いを帯びた美メロは健在、素晴らしい曲揃いだが、②③⑧あたりが特に好き。そして、死んじゃいそうなほど？暗い⑥のあとに、キラキラした⑦が流れた瞬間、そのあまりの美しさ、優しさ、パァーッと希望が開けるような感じに泣きそうになった。ヒドゥントラックも素晴らしい。美しい。美しすぎる。こんなにも感情を揺さぶられる音楽。やっぱTRAVISの作品はどれも甲乙つけがたく、みな素晴らしいです。

Peace The Fuck Outにはビートルズ、Mid-Life KrisisにはR.E.M.っぽい雰囲気を感じた。しかしただのフォロワーなどでは断じてなく、オリジナリティを感じられる曲に仕上がっているのはさすがトラヴィス。曲ごとの世界観は統一されているものの単調ではなく、一枚を通してすんなり聴けるいいアルバム。
