タイトルのThe Out-of-Townersとは、「よその町からの訪問者」という意味があると思う。ジャケを見ると「旅人」とか「よそ者」と言う感じもする。キーストリオのドイツでのライブなので、やはりThe Out-of-TownersとはKeith Jarrett,Gary Peacock,Jack Dejohnetteの三人のアメリカ人（異邦人）のことを指すんだろうこの場合は。
