Pedro Aznarのボーカル（他にサックス、鍵盤ハーモニカ、ヴィブラフォン、アコスティック・ギターなども演奏）ってほんと素晴らしい、と思えるアルバム。 『スティル・ライフ (トーキング)』 に続いて1989年にリリースされた『レター・フロム・ホーム』。 当時のライブの定番「ハヴ・ユー・ハード - ”Have You Heard”」「ベター・デイズ・アヘッド - ”Better Days Ahead”」があり、「ビート70 - ”Beat 70”」や「スリップ・アウェイ - ”Slip Away”」のようなポップな曲もあり。 初めて聴いた時は、前作の『スティル・ライフ (トーキング)』 と姉妹のようなアルバムというのが印象でしたから、『スティル・ライフ (トーキング)』 好きの僕としてもよくよく聞いたアルバムです。
