レッド・ホット・チリ・ペッパーズの記念すべきデビュー・アルバム（1984年発表）。レッチリは1982年にＬＡで結成。当初のメンバーはアンソニー・キーディス（vo)、ジャック・シャーマン（g)、フリー(b)、クリフ・マルチネス(ds)だった。彼らは後にミクスチャーと呼ばれるスタイルを持つバンドの元祖的存在となっていく。ここでは彼らの持ち味であるファンク系サウンドとラップが十二分に炸裂しているとは言い難いが、何とも形容し難い他にはないユニークな音楽性はやはり面白い。未完成の美？

のりさんのおっしゃる通り･･･ﾎﾟﾘｽﾍﾘｺﾌﾟﾀｰはイッちゃってて最高(笑)俺はあとはｹﾞｯﾄｱｯﾌﾟｱﾝﾄﾞｼﾞｬﾝﾌﾟが大好き!!ﾌﾘｰのﾁｮｯﾊﾟｰ炸裂で自然と身体がノってきますぜ(￣ー￣) まぁこのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑは1stだけあり模索中のﾚｯﾁﾘって感じはするが、やはり彼らだけの音を披露してて良いです！

「Police Helicopter」はぼくがレッチリで今でも一番好きな曲です。 このCDには幸いにもデモバージョンがはいっています。 最高にイカれた曲ですが最高です。この曲のみ。
