前作「Metropolis Part 2」に続いて2002年...

前作「Metropolis Part 2」に続いて2002年にリリースされた2枚組の超大作です。本作も前作のアルバムと全く引けをとっていない。個人的にはDisc1に収録されている大作No.1とNo.2は見事なインストバトルが聴けるナンバーで実に華麗でスリリングだと思います。そしてDisc2は壮大な世界が目の前に広がる素晴らしさで、オープニングNo.1からスタートし、メロディアスなNo.2、激しいバトルの応酬が炸裂するNo.4、そこから一転して安堵感抜群のNo.5はピアノが美しい。そして徐々に盛り上がりをみせNo.6はまさしくメロディアス路線まっしぐらのナンバーで、ジョン・ペトルーシのギタープレイとジョーダン・ルーデスのピアノが空高く舞い上がり、壮大なオーケストレーションを導入したNo.7、No.8など、またしても彼らは偉業を成し遂げた。ホント、文句のつけようがない。
