ロンドン生まれの才気あふれるギタリスト兼ソングライター、ピーター・グリーン（1946-2020）率いるフリートウッド・マック。この伝説的なバンドの第1期は1970年に終焉を迎え、その翌年5月に、『The Original Fleetwood Mac』が発売された。1967年から68年のセッションからの未発表マスターとアウトテイクを収録し、強烈なインストゥルメンタル曲「Fleetwood Mac」をはじめ、数々の逸品が収録。リマスターされ、未発表曲7曲とヴァーノンによる解説が追加されたこのアルバムは、2004年に再発された。そして、アビー・ロード・スタジオでアレックス・ウォートンによってラッカー・カッティングされたこの19曲入りヴァージョンが、レコード・ストア・デイ2026に登場。
