「HELP! 」から始まるアルバムですが、○○鑑定団で長年聴いたせいか、なんだか針を落とさないようになってしまいました。 でも、「悲しみはぶっとばせ」や「チケット・トゥ・ライド」はじめいい曲もあるし、B面には「イエスタデイ」もある（この曲が好きかは別にしても、ビートルズの通過儀礼的ナンバー）。 ポールもライブでカバーしている「アイヴ・ジャスト・シーン・ア・フェイス(夢の人)」はアルバムの中では1番好きかも。 最近のカバーの中なら、原田知世さんのバージョンが、なかなか声や歌い方が合ってると思いますが。

2作目の映画のサントラ盤だが、前作に比べると曲の出来にバラつきがある。やはり「夢の人」がピカイチ。ウイングス時代にも演奏していた。ポールもお気に入りであったのであろう。
