17年ぶりの単独来日公演ツアーが大盛況となったフー・ファイターズ。2025年でデビュー30周年を迎えたことを記念し、伝説の 1st アルバム『Foo Fighters』の 30 周年記念盤をリリース。ニルヴァーナの悲劇的な幕切れから、デイヴ・グロールの去就を世界中のロック・ファンが注目する中で発表された本作品は、デイヴ・グロールが単独でスタジオ入りし、書き溜めていたデモ・テープを基に制作された。「This Is A Call 」「Big Me」など、初期の名曲を収録。LP2にはファンに人気の「Winnebago」、1995年レディング・フェスティバルのライヴ音源「For All The Cows」「Wattershed」など、計6曲のボーナス・トラックを収録。今作の盤面の色は、「Big Me」のミュージックビデオに登場するキャンディ「Footos」をオマージュした、ミンティ・アイス・カラーとなっている。
