The GoldeBriars, The Ballroom, The Millennium, Sagittarius として，またソロとして，優れた楽曲を残してきた Curt Boettcher（1944〜1987）関連のアンソロジーは他にもありますが，これは，アレンジャーやプロデューサー等として彼が製作に関わった音源を中心にまとめた企画盤です。2019年リリース，全21曲。そのような作品をまとめて聴くことのできる利点はありますが，「CURT BOETTCHER ＆ FRIENDS」と括って1枚の作品にする必然性があるかといえば，疑問が残りますし，過去にリリースされた，未発表曲を中心とした企画盤に感じたような驚きや感動は，残念ながらありませんでした。写真が豊富なブックレットは，36頁と充実しています。
