Product Description

After a long time away, Monica Arnold has returned to the urban music fray with a brand new look and a brand new album. With my third album I'm getting a chance to express myself. I've been going through the different changes people go through in life: the album title 'After the Storm' says it all. Missy Elliott has produced four tracks on the album and is credited as executive producer overall and the set also includes collaborations with DMX and her labelmate Tyrese, as well as production from Rodney Jerkins, Jermaine Dupri, Dallas Austin and Soulshock. This is definitely my most personal record. I'm thankful that I took time off to consider what I wanted the audience to have this time around. I didn't want to miss the mark so I dedicated all my time and attention to making the best album I could.

MONICAの声に合う曲ばかりですごく良い。デビューアルバムにもせつない歌は入っていたけど、大人になって、心から歌っている感じが伝わってくる。4,7がお勧め。
