やはり、ヤナーチェクはオペラやミサ曲などの声楽曲がいいです。 この男声合唱曲集は、ほぼ年代順に収録されていますが、年代を追って行くに従ってその個性的な神秘性が増してきているのがわかります。 中でも、「70,000」、「チェコ在郷軍人会」、「さまよえる狂人」、「３つの男声合唱曲」は、素晴らしいです。 NAXOSのこういう埋もれた名曲を発掘してレコーディングすることは、ファンとしては嬉しいことです。
