　スティーヴ・キューンのピアノと共鳴する様にベースとドラムが鳴り響く出だしの演奏の、印象の強い「Ｌａｎｄ　ｏｆ　ｌｉｖｉｎｇ　ｄｅａｄ（ランド・オブ・ザ・リヴィング・デッド）」が収録されたピアノ・トリオのアルバム１枚です。お薦めします。

ECM以外ではあまり聴いてこなかったので、改めてメインストリームのジャズを弾いている Steve Kuhn を聴いてなかなか良いなあと思います。　BusterもBill Stewart も好演です。　特に、Billのシンバルの扱いに好感を覚えます。　Venus Record については詳しくないので何も分かりませんが、日本人が好きな曲を日本企画で演奏してもらっている様な印象です。　Steve はこんなに（良い意味で）普通な演奏をしている事に、ちょっとびっくりです。
