1960年7月アンチーブでのライブ盤である。このレコーディングの3ヵ月後CANDID盤プレゼンツ・ミンガスがほぼ同じメンバーでスタジオ録音されるが、ここではＢ．アーヴィンと、１曲だけＢ．パウエルが参加している。この時期のミンガスGrのライブとして期待に違わぬ熱演である。録音状態は、演奏以外の異音が多いとか、定位もフラフラとか難点が多いが、臨場感が迫ってくるので全て許容。 ここでのドルフィーのソロは完成度じゃなくて、頭に血がのぼったような雄たけびが聞ける。
